The title of this blog goes back to a finance professor who was big on shareholder value as well as quite opinionated. In response to squishy touchie-feelie challenges from the audience, I once heard him say, "I'm not stubborn -- I'm right." I suppose it resonates with me because it reminds me of the Robert Frost / Rupert Hine line which is the title of this first post.
I don't plan always to spell things out in this way, but I thought I'd put my best foot forward before launching into unapologetic opinions about anything and everything. Over time, the posts may paint a picture of my identity, but I don't intend to make it easier to guess than it has to be...
